My hand embroidery explores the nature of our inner worlds, it’s quiet and contemplative method reflects the quiet and often silenced voices within us. I seek to explore that deep understanding of material that captivates, provokes and conveys experience, and inherently connects and transforms lives.

My work has been exhibited at galleries throughout the North, including HOME Manchester, Saul Hay Gallery, and Bury Art Museum. My first solo exhibition took place in October 2021 at The Fish Factory Gallery in Cornwall.

I also co-run Mcr Sew Social, a community of artists and makers who work with textiles. The group meets regularly in central Manchester.
