I am a hand embroidery artist based in West Yorkshire. My work combines traditional hand stitching techniques and contemporary figurative imagery to create work full of narrative and meaning.
My embroidered art explores the intersection of nature, heritage and culture. I draw inspiration from folklore and the natural world to create works that are both evocative and deeply symbolic.
By meticulously hand stitching onto inherited and reclaimed fabrics, I breathe new life into materials steeped in history and memory.
My work has been exhibited at galleries throughout the North, including HOME Manchester, Saul Hay Gallery, and Bury Art Museum. My first solo exhibition took place in October 2021 at The Fish Factory Gallery in Cornwall.
I also co-run Thread Collective, a community arts organisation that runs textile socials and workshops in Yorkshire and Manchester.
